Site Investigations (Phase 2)
Site Investigations (Phase 2)
Following completion of a desk study report and the depending on the intended future use of your site it may be appropriate to carry out intrusive site investigations. These works help to quantify actual on site conditions.
Site investigation may be required to address potential contamination risks and/or to determine the geotechnical properties of the ground to aid foundation design etc.
WSC is experienced in the design and supervision of many types of site investigation works including trial pitting, window sampling, cable percussive (shell and auger) and rotary drilling. We can also design and supervise the installation of ground gas and water monitoring wells.
In addition WSC can collect soil, water and gas samples and scheduled their chemical testing, with full interpretation and risk assessment of the results.
Each site is different and we would be happy to discuss the appropriate way forward for your site and provide a fee proposal for your consideration.
