UCLan is the member of the charity and provides leadership and support to the WRI / UCLan campus in West Cumbria. |

| Westlakes Scientific Consulting Ltd is a subsidiary of WRI and provides contract research and consultancy services to public and private sector clients both in the UK and abroad. Profits from the trading subsidiary provide an important funding stream to the charity. |
