Environmental Science - Airviro

Ourselves and SMHI provide the latest technology in online Air Quality Management, “iAirviro”. This system includes a comprehensive suite of dispersion modelling, emissions inventory compilation and monitoring data uploading tools, allowing the busy environmental professional to use what they need, when its needed. Furthermore, the integrated internet technology enables the public presentation of air quality predictions and real-time monitoring data on customers’ websites.

The Airviro system provides for high quality, exceptional performance and reliability: the essential components of environmental management.

Over the last decade the Airviro system has seen continuous development and rigorous testing of its applications, resulting in the leading environmental management software of today. The release of the iAirviro (Internet) platform has offered the performance and stability of the UNIX based platform to any user with an Internet connection, without the need for UNIX hardware or lengthy software installation procedures.

iAirviro - a comprehensive suite
The full iAirviro suite offers a system of modules that covers every aspect of the air pollution assessment

Data collection
Data are collected automatically from instruments measuring meteorology, air quality and other variables relevant to air pollution. Validation routines are applied and the operator is informed of possible malfunction in the measurement systems.

Data analysis
The Airviro Indico module provides tools for presentation and advanced analysis of time-series data. Selection criteria and mathematical transformations can be applied to data. Regression functions are also provided for model-building and testing of hypotheses.

Dynamic emission database (EDB)
The dynamic emission database included in the system is designed to store static as well as dynamic emission characteristics for large numbers of pollution sources and types.

Dispersion module
A number of dispersion models are available in the system, allowing the operator to investigate different scenarios in which processes such as deposition and accumulation of pollutants are taken into account. Results of different simulations can be stored for presentation and comparison.

Presentation
The APUB module allows environmental data to be published on the Internet in real time.

The professional system
The iAirviro system allows you to:

  • Comply with environmental legislation.
  • Provide informed decisions about environmental impacts.
  • Determine current and future pollution situations.
  • Model extreme events, such as accidents.
  • Distribute environmental information internally and to the public.

Flexibility and choice
The modular design of iAirviro allows the user to select the components required, allowing the user to buy only the elements that will be used. This allows new modules to be added to your licence when they are required. As upgrades are performed remotely at the server the upgrade is rapid and doesn't require any alteration to the users hardware, reducing cost and system downtime. Customised applications can be developed on request, specific to your needs.

Performance and stability
iAirviro is a fully internet based program. This allows the user to access their secure domain from any computer with an Internet connection.

Support and training
The support network can be tailored to suit your needs, adapting to the level of support required. International courses can be designed to provide you with the most suitable and cost effective training. Generic introduction courses are regularly conducted or highly specific custom lead course can also provided. All the courses are taken by highly trained staff.
