WSC Presents Seminar at Radiological Protection Institute of Ireland
Dr Jordi Vives i Batlle conducted a seminar at the Radiological Protection Institute of Ireland, in Dublin, on 18th September 2009. The seminar, “Protection of the Environmental from Ionising Radiation”, formed part of Westlakes Scientific Consulting’s contribution to the long-standing international system. The seminar outlined several experimental and modelling studies in the area of environmental radioecology, in particular demonstrating models and approaches developed to assess the impact of ionising radiation on species of non-human biota and how these efforts fit in the overall development of international radiation protection system for the environment.
