Westlakes’ work in occupational exposure assessment and epidemiology featured in RoSPA Journal
The work carried out by Westlakes Scientific Consulting in assessing occupational exposures at the Capper Pass non-ferrous metals smelter, and studying the mortality of former employees in relation to their exposures, has been prominently featured in the journal ‘Occupational Safety and Health’, published by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents. The article[1] covers the contribution that this kind of work can make to evidence-based occupational health management, including the debate as to whether evidence or precaution should be given most weight in decision making.
